As we move further away from the environments our planet has given us, I imagine these sounds to be a monument to every real and imagined river. A reminder every river flows, gives life to worlds we will never know, holds the detritus of human error, and bears no judgement. We were lucky to know each one and they will be sorely missed when they are gone.
